README.TXT file for UUREM (c) 2000 ABI ====================================== This README file contains important information about UUREM that is supplemental to any of the UUREM documentation. HOST-TO-TARGET Connection ---------------------------------------------------- The "IN" or "User IN Line" on the Target Adapters is now used to sense the VCC level at the target system. Connect the pin marked "IN" on the Target Adapter to the target's VCC using the supplied RED Test Lead. The "IN" line MUST be held HIGH for the emulator to work properly. Support available on our WWW page ---------------------------------------------------- http://www.abi-usa.com/support.html Change for Version 1.26a ---------------------------------------------------- - Undefined data between data blocks in Intel-hex and Motorola S-record files are now filled with Blank Fill value when Blank Fill option is selected; otherwise, zeroes are filled. Change for Version 1.26 ---------------------------------------------------- - Corrected problem where Motorola S-record files were improperly loaded: offset mishandled. Change for Version 1.25 ---------------------------------------------------- - Changed Intel-hex file processing to ignore all lines not beginning with colon ':'. Change for Version 1.24 ---------------------------------------------------- - Corrected problem where Intel-hex and Motorola S-record files were improperly loaded: forward/reverse offset mishandled. Define external applications under Options->Environment->External The external application is called with the following arguments application [source] [destination] Changes for Version 1.11 ---------------------------------------------------- Eliminated error when no media was present in CD-ROM drive or removeable drive. New Features added in Version 1.1 ---------------------------------------------------- Option to "Swap Adjacent Bytes" added to "Load" and "Save As" dialog boxes. This option allows adjacent odd and even numbered bytes to be swapped before downloading/uploading from the emulator memory. The similar option available under menu Options->Environment only alters byte order during on- screen display for readability and does not alter the actual data load order.
